HAPPY BIRTHDAY

My birthday was last week so I decided it was time to get in the mood for some upcoming birthdays. It seems we have them scattered throughout the year. Several in the spring. So I thought I would get out the Crazy for Cupcakes Stamp Set and do something with it. I love this set but it seems I get hooked on 1 or 2 sets and let some of the others go by the wayside. So here are a few cards I made this morning before work.

This first one I used Bashful Blue, Pretty in Pink and Certainly Celery cs with matching markers and blue ribbon. I used 1 1/4 and 1 3/8" circles, large oval and the label punches and DSP from SAB mini. I love this card and the colors but I cannot take credit for the layout, I saw a card from Gretchen Barron's site, she makes such nice cards in colors and layouts. I love her ideas, so I borrowed this layout. I hope that you like it also. Thanks Gretchen.

This one I used So Saffron, celery and bashful blue papers and markers. The wide and large ovals and 1 1/4" circle punches and celery ribbon. Very simple but sweet.

This card I used Orchid Oppulance, Pixie Pink and Whisper White cs. I cut out the cupcake and on the icing i used white embossing and chunky glitter, marker on the candle and pieced it back together. I also used versamark on the background and white grosgrain ribbon.

MINI-MAGAZINE HOLDERS

Aren't these so cute. They are so easy to make. I can't take all the credit for the design. They are so practical for the office or just at home on your desk. You'll be the talk of the office, they'll all want one. Ok, mabe not, but aren't they cute. Just the right size for 3x3 note cards or post-its. These are made with Kiwi Kiss, Real Red, Choc Chip and Pink Pirouette and Bella Rose DSP.

ANOTHER NEW CARD

Here is another card I made using the Raspberry Tart DSP and the Petal Pizzaz Stamp Set. I cased this one from SCS, not sure who, but loved the layout and colors. Using Rose Red and Kiwi Kiss and Pink Taffeta ribbon and the scalloped square punch it makes a really neat combination.

Sale-A-bration Card

I cased this card from SCS, I dont remember who, but I loved it and thought it would be a nice card for a workshop since you can use so many different punches and embellishments. It is the Polka Dot Punches Set from the Sale-a-bration catty. I love this set. It has matching DSP with some wonderful designs. I used a piece on the front and then a 1/2in circle of the green print inside the build-a-brad. I also used the So Saffron and Celery ribbon bundle available in the mini. If you are interested in receiving these and other items free please contact me by email or leave a post and Ill show you how easy it is to receive these items.

This card I made using my new texturz plates #1 with very vanilla and Mellow Moss CS and the new Dream A Little Stamp Set. Simple but elegant.
